Is a family photo session right for me?
I started my journey with photography almost a decade ago when my daughter was born. I've lived and seen how quickly the years fly by. Don't wait for the "right time". Kids grow up so fast and I love being able to look back on my family photos. So, ask yourself if having photos with your kids (with you in the photos) is something you want to have to look back on years from now. You deserve to be present in photos too!
How will the family photo session unfold - will you direct us?
As an experienced family photographer, I have developed skills that help me interact with families and kids. I start with some simple guidance and then allow for your connections with your family and kids come out. I want everyone to have a great time so we'll play some games and share some laughter!
I'm not sure if my kids can handle a family photo shoot!
I know that some kids have enough energy to fly to the moon! Aside from being a family photographer, I'm also a father of 3 energetic kids! Rest assured that I am patient and I am confident that we can captures some fantastic family photos with your kids. Not all of the photos will have your kids looking at the camera and that's what I'm aiming for. I will also be looking for moments when your kids are laughing with you, kissing you, or just feeling right at home in your arms!
Do you only include candid photos or will there be any photos of us looking at the camera?
Your family photo collection will include natural photos that focus on your family connection while also including some gently posed family portraits. I believe this variety is important when I deliver a family photo gallery.
